In this visualization, you can view a cloropleth map of the world with respect to various statistics as of May 12. By default, the map is displayed according to the percentage of recovered patients in every country. Using the buttons below, you can switch to view the percentage of active cases and mortality rate on the map. Percentages for active active and recovered patients are calculated by taking the ratio of each statistic to the confirmed number of cases. Mortality rate is calculated by the ratio of deaths to the sum of deaths and recoveries.
